HYDECAT™ is a Johnson Matthey process that has been designed to cost effectively control the presence of chlorine in the environment.

The HYDECAT process is a catalytic method of removing hypochlorite from chlorinated caustic streams, using a heterogeneous supported nickel catalyst and a modular fixed bed reactor.
