The fourteenth biennial International Methanol Technology Operators Forum (IMTOF) will be held from Sunday 9th - Wednesday 12th July 2017 at the Hilton Paddington Hotel, London, UK. This event, hosted by Johnson Matthey is open to all methanol plant operators and project developers worldwide*.

The objective of the forum is to provide a focal point for every plant operator to communicate and share experiences, successes and problems. Further, it provides an opportunity for us all to meet informally and develop better contacts and friendships.

During IMTOF 2017 we intend to cover both technical and operational aspects in some depth covering the key areas of the methanol flowsheet for both coal and gas based methanol production, including reforming, synthesis, distillation and services. In addition we will discuss plant safety, health and environmental impact. Outside the main conference proceedings there will be the usual opportunity to question the presenters of the papers in more detail. All sessions throughout the forum will be conducted in English with simultaneous translation into Russian and Chinese.

If you would like to submit a technical paper for consideration in the conference programme visit the Call for Papers section and submit the details.

We will be providing more information about IMTOF 2017, including when registration for the event opens, in the coming months. Keep up to date to be sure you do not miss out.

We look forward to seeing you there.

*The IMTOF symposium is open and free of charge to all methanol producers and project developers worldwide. Whilst we appreciate interest shown in this event by other individuals or companies, Johnson Matthey reserves the right to refuse or rescind any registration request without reason.
